The Sgt Anthony Park Association is happy to announce that after many years of urging the city to upgrade the park equipment, that we will be getting a new playground and swing set, and the basketball court will be upgraded to regulation standard and a new surface, as well as repairs to the sidewalks outside the park.
The work is starting next week, on the morning of March 18th at 7am, and will hopefully complete by the time the schools get out for summer in June.
Unfortunately the park will need to be entirely closed during this renovation, and the sidewalk out front will also be closed to pedestrians. There will also be some parking spaces for equipment and trucks taken up during the daytime hours.
