Dear Friends & Neighbors:
We want to share an important update regarding the ongoing situation with the closure of Christ Hospital (now Heights University Hospital) and the continued efforts to fight for healthcare access in our community.
As many of you know, the hospital serving Jersey City since 1872, has recently closed after years of instability under private ownership, leaving a major gap in care for residents.
There has been significant community response, advocacy, and legal action taken by the City to challenge this closure and push for accountability.
📣Now is a critical moment for public input.
The New Jersey Department of Health is currently accepting public comments regarding the closure.
