2020 SAPNA Board Elections.
President, Vice-President, Secretary & Treasurer positions will be voted on. If you would like to put yourself forward as a candidate for one of these positions, you can do so at the meeting. Please refer to the SAPNA Constitution for eligibility and details.
Treasurers report
Proposed amendments to the Sgt Anthony Park Association Constitution to add Head Gardener to the board:
Head Gardener will be a full board member. The position will be voted on at 1st meeting of each calendar year.
25% (suggested) of association incoming budget each year will be assigned to community garden. That percentage (%) will be ratified and voted on each year. Head Gardner will be responsible for using this budget in the community garden appropriately.
Head Gardner will be responsible for managing and assigning community garden plots, as well as ensuring overall garden safety.
Head Gardner will be responsible for planning new planting in garden for upcoming year.
Head Gardener will be responsible for updating community garden rules in conjunction with paid gardeners as necessary, and will bring changes to be ratified at Association meetings.
Head Gardner will be responsible for maintaining an organized system of communication with other gardeners and Association and post regular hours open to the public on website and community board.

Cherry Blossom Spring Festival - Sat April 18 [Add to Calendar ]
To celebrate the wonderful Cherry Blossoms that adorn Sgt Anthony Park we will be having a Cherry Blossom festival in April with activities in the park.
SAPNA Spring meeting - Thursday April 30th [Add to Calendar]
Spring Flea Market - Sat May 16th [Add to Calendar]
The Sgt Anthony Spring Flea Market will return will full force in May 2020. Look out for details on how to register a table.

Winter is upon us and we would like to make sure that the neighborhood is able to thrive during these cold days. Please check in on your neighbors and help when necessary. The City has provided some useful information for residents when it snows.
