The Spring Sgt Anthony Park Neighborhood Association meeting will be at
7pm on Thursday April 26th at
Christ Hospital Staff Meeting Room
The cherry trees in Sgt Anthony Park have bloomed, a great reminder that Spring is here. Please join us for the 2018 Spring meeting of the Neighborhood Association. This meeting is a great opportunity to get informed and involved!
Currently on the agenda:
-Sgt Anthony Park Planting Days!
In conjunction with volunteers from Keller Williams Jersey City, we have a volunteer day planting on Thursday 10th of May where we will be planting in the park and community gardens. If you are unable to help on the 10th, but want to help, we will likely have more plants and gardening available on the weekend of the 12th.
-Flea Market
The Sgt Anthony Flea Market returns on the 12th of May. Please email sgtanthonypark@gmail.com to reserve a table ($10 for members, $15 for non-members). More details soon.
-Ward C Councilman Richard Boggiano
Councilman Boggiano will be attending to talk about local development plans, hear concerns, and take questions.
-Development Plans for 41 Central Ave
The owner of 41 Central Ave will be attending the meeting and would like the input from the community on plans for developing a 7/11 on the site. No plans have yet been presented.
-Development Plans for 50 Laidlaw Ave
The owner of 50 Laidlaw Ave will be attending the meeting and would like the input from the community on plans for developing the property. Plans can be found here.
-Yoga in The Park!!
Sattva yoga will be returning in May through the summer. More details soon.
