HAPPY EARTH DAY!
the Great Jersey City Clean-up is TOMORROW!
The Great Jersey City Cleanup is being held in honor of Earth Day on Saturday April 23, 2016 and will take place throughout Jersey City. Throughout Jersey City thousands of residents alongside neighborhood and civic organizations, community leaders, and elected officials will roll up their sleeves and help clean our City on a single day.
JOIN US!
For most of Saturday there will be volunteers in Sgt Anthony Park and throughout the neighborhood, helping pick up trash, garden, and make our neighborhood green and beautiful.
For those who really want to help, we will meet at from 8am and will continue until 2pm. If you can only spare one or two hours, please come to the park where we help you find a spot. The City is providing cleanup supplies and there will be dumpsters and garbage trucks moving throughout the city.
If you cannot make it tomorrow, why not spend a small amount of time cleaning the sidewalk in front of yours and your neighbors buildings. It will take no time at all!
If you haven't yet signed up, please visit http://volunteer.jerseycitynj.gov/opportunities/inquire.php?opp_id=3984 or come to the park on the day where we can sign you up!
