TREES
On December 1st, the Jersey City Department of Parks and Forestry supervised the planting of four Japanese Zelkova trees in front of our park! Special thanks to Mark Redfield, Director of the Jersey City Department of Public Works, for beautifying our neighborhood. To read more go to our website: www.sgtanthonypark.com
Many of our members would like to have more trees planted in our neighborhood. To that end we have created a "tree map" which we will share with the JC DPW. Members are encouraged to record trees that are dead or tree pits that are empty on this map.

JC SHOVELS
This week Jersey City launched JC Shovels, a new volunteer initiative that seeks to help low-income, home-owning seniors with snow removal.
We would like to help the DPW recruit as many volunteers as possible.
