Vision Zero
Today in Jersey City, there are an average of 300 crashes and 9 traffic fatalities each year. In response to these numbers, and a recent spike in traffic injuries and fatalities, Mayor Fulop signed an executive order adopting “Vision Zero.” The order creates a task force of transportation officials, public safety officers, and members of the public, who will develop a Vision Zero Action Plan aimed at eliminating traffic-related death and serious injuries on Jersey City streets by 2026.

NJ Transit Bus Petition

See Click Fix & Resident Response
In addition to filling out the vision zero survey, you can open a ticket with the Jersey City Residents Response Center on See Click Fix or by calling (201) 547-4900. We would like you to highlight dangerous streets & intersections, crosswalk safety, parking issues, and any other items of concern. This is a great way of informing the city and your neighbors about problems that you are consistently encountering, so please encourage your neighbors to also contribute. The more people are involved, the more the city is likely to fully address the issues raised.
