As you might have heard, Liberty Nat’l Golf Course and its billionaire owner Paul Fireman is close to privatizing the Caven Point Natural area of Liberty State Park. Their goal: to plow under this unique natural gem and build three additional holes of golf (they already have 18) for their wealthy members. 

Once again we have to rise up to protect Liberty State Park.

Now there’s a proposed law that would stop such threats permanently. 

The Friends of Liberty State Park (FOLSP) and NY/NJ Baykeeper, the park's longtime protectors, are holding a short rally this Saturday, 11–11:30 a.m., at the flag plaza at the south end of the park, to demand complete protection of this special place, and we urge you to join us there!
