Reval Info Session:

The City of Jersey City has begun a full Revaluation of every property in the City. This is likely to effect the taxes of many properties.

New Playground

It was overwhelmingly decided that the new playground for the Sgt Anthony should be the "Kompan" structure as it has the most features, covered play, and widest range of activities for children of all ages. People also liked the inclusion of the additional side elements. This has been submitted to the City and we hope that the installation can be swiftly set in motion.

Keep Jersey City Beautiful Earth Day Clean-up:
The 2017 Keep Jersey City Beautiful campaign is having the annual Earth Day Clean up on April 29th.
People can help by cleaning and picking up trash outside their house and along their streets. Volunteers should report to Dickinson High at 9am. More information about the event is here: https://volunteer.jerseycitynj.gov/opportunities/4556
Flea Market:
The Sgt Anthony Park Spring Flea Market returns on May 21st.

New Sgt Anthony Park Board:
After many years of being the Secretary of the board, Rosemary McIntyre has stepped aside. Congratulations to all of the re-elected and incoming members of the Association Board who were voted in at the last meeting.
President: Bart Warshaw
Vice President: Chelsea Carter

Yoga in the Park:
We have approached Sattva Yoga to bring Yoga to the park on Sunday mornings (June - August). We need to make sure enough people will turn up so if you or anyone you know are interested, please get in touch.
Movies in The Park:
Sgt Anthony Park will host its first Movie In the Park on August 24th. Put it in your Calendar and join us for a fun family friendly event.  (Film Selection TBD)
Community Garden:
Head Gardener Norrice would like helping hands for the community garden.
There has also been interest in starting vegetable planting so please
get in touch if you would like to be involved.
See Click Fix :
We are continuing to encourage residents to report all items in the neighborhood that need reporting to be done through SeeClickFix which tracks and logs complaints so that they can be managed and chased up more effectively.
